Thanks all for your words... it is a tough time but it is made easier with the help of family and friends.. and things like this forum have a part in this too.... thanks.
Sue and I spoke often about retirement and what we would do when it came around. Well, it is fast approaching. I am retiring in early 2018 and plan to hit the road and do some of the things we planned...
Sorry, I just read about your personal loss and my heartfelt condolences are with you at this time. It has been 27 years now for me as a solo traveller and although it gets easier over time the heart remembers......sorry mate, just keep talking with us, your Grey Nomad family. Gwynnie

Again, thank you to all for the supportive words. Yes, my Susie will travel with me. Sue loved teddy bears. We thought that a good way to allow her to continue her travels with me was to place some of her ashes inside a teddy bear. I have done this and this will ride along side me as I travel in the years ahead.
Hey Mike, see it this way you have your very own Guardian Angel now! Mine is always looking out for me! Enjoy the road, met great friends, see this amazing country! Keep positive.
