Sorry it as taken a while to get back to you Debe ,couldn't get photo up.I fitted a second fan with manual on off switch a while ago , but now the main fan has stopped working all together and cutting the compressor out, I have disconnected the main fan but now the compressor wont start we have a digital thermomotor hat make s the compressor switch on and off so I don't know how to get that to work now either .Any help would be appreciated.Thanks Trevor .
A few points about those controlers. First is the Fan circuit the continuous load is half an amp, max peak 1A. If a fan draws more than half an amp the module will shut down. It wont work again until the exess load is removed & the power switched off & re connected. Also no fan will eventualy cause exess head pressure shuting down the compressor. To force the compressor to run bridge C & T. It is also well worth fiting an LED betwean the small+ & D. This will flash fault codes (don't know why this isn fitted to all fridges using these compressors.)
Also that fan is just a larger brushless computer fan. Just measure is size & get another one to fit, Make sure its current draw is less than 500Ma 12V dc.

Thanks DEBE .i have wired the manual fan to red + black to f it is running the compressor and the fan is running .It is cycling between 1&4 deg .There is no way that i can remove the old fan so i might have to live with it like that. My only worry is that the new fan is not displacing enough air across the condenser. I have another fan but that sounds like a jet engine. Any thoughts.

Your picture doesn't show a lot, but theres a posability theres 2 screws holding the condencer to the base. If you remove them you may be able to move it enough carefully to get the fan out. It definitely needs to be replaced.
This is the area that you indicated but there are no screws ,the white one just looks like a plastic vibration foot with no screws.Ill go and have another look ,but it is still cycling on and off.Sorry to be a pain

Bit hard to tell with the small field of view in the pictures. But the condencer has been fitted some how. And the fan has to be replacable some how, generaly not always simply. In the picture the plate that the condencer is screwed to appears to be fited to the base plate.
The two white square plastic pieces seem to hold the condenser on the base plate.Tried to squeeze together but no way they are to tough to squeeze together have to have another try

The two square plastic pieces should be able to squeeze together but they have put a wood screw from underneath so can't get to them unless i take the fridge out .Absolutely ridiculous

Those square plastic pieces are used in vehicles as well, you just remove the screw then you squeeze them together to separate the pieces. I did sugest fridge work is not always easy. But just remember you are saving quite a lot of money in labour if you are capable of doing the job yourself. You just need patience.

The screws have been put underneath and that sits on the base of the fridge inspection vent. If the new fan piggy backed on the wrong side of the compressor doesn't work effectively then I will have to do something about it then

If you are going to do that, then seriously wire up an LED & fit to the controller. At least you will then get fault code flashes if the compressor just stops. In an over heat situation for the electronic controller it will give 5 flashes. Those controlers are not cheap @ around $250.
I had our fan stop last year up in the NT . You are right getting the existing square fan out would be very hard unless you remove the fridge. I had an guy fit a fan which came out of a computer same size as existing on the outside of the fan bracket.The screw holes fitted perfectly and instead of blowing like the old one it now sucks . I was going to replace the old one but may just leave it as it works well .
Hope this all makes sense bit had to descibe . Can take photo tomorrow if it helps .

Thanks Dhutime as you said it is a nightmare trying to get the fan out,so I have bought a 120mm computer fan and put it on the outside of the condenser.I originally had it blowing in to the condenser but the temperature went up and it took ages to go down to 1deg so I turned it round suck the air through the condenser and the temperature went down a lot quicker and it is cycling between 1-4deg a lot better. I will monitor it for the next few days and keep fingers crossed that it works.I have made a chute to hopefully exhaust the hot air out through the vent instead of heating the carcass of the fridge up, I will see if it makes a difference or not
