I am brand new to this forum and also very nervous about buying our first motorhome. I have my eye on a 2010 Winnebago Esperance Iveco 50C18 which has done low kms and in really good visual condition. I am looking for recommendations for a person or company that will do a full and comprehensive inspection report. As mentioned I am very nervous about buying an 8 year old vehicle and dont want to be caught with massive repair or replace bills. I would love to get some feedback or recommendations for how to go about getting a thorough inspection done. Motorhome is located in the suburbs of Melbourne VIC
Also if there is anyone out there with an Iveco 50C18 I would love to hear your experiences especially in regard to the automated manual gearbox.
If the box on back has slide out/s there have been some complaints about the worm drive gears on the other caravan sites - Normally the Iveco have a pretty good reputation.

Drive ok ? Listen to engine from COLD start up is a rough indication . If they run rough for a few seconds it often means it's way due for service ? Which is the main thing when it comes to durability..
Hi Steve
We have a Winnebago Esperance Iveco 50C18 and bought it second hand, it was 2 years old when we bought it in 2012.
Private message me for details about the vehicle. We live in Sydney and get our vehicle checked by an ex Iveco mechanic who has now opened his own workshop in Sydney - who I highly recommend.
Don't come here to often but would NOT trade my 50C18 6 speed manual/auto for anything else 2010 model. recentl inspected several other makes for parents and ended up with 2007 Iveco for them. No issues with either except hard to locate a dealer in Tasmania that has much experiance with them. Thankfully I am a mechanic and can do most.
