New to this an upgrade form the tent

Hi from Perth WA and sat by my motorcycle and tent eight months ago chatting to a caravan owner.  He showed me his caravan and it looked more comfortable!

So soon we Grae and Lin will be out and about with my wifes Long Service Leave in March next year. We have a lot to learn about caravaning having toured with our tent many years.

Look forwards to participating and gaining tips.

G'day Grealin and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.

Welcome to the gang Graelin, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I tend to agree with you when you say "looked more comfortable!". I had a Avan Camper Trailer first up and now have what is in my Signature below. Much more comfy and I tell you that for free.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Thanks for the Welcolm. We paid for the caravan today and will pick up next weekend.

Yes Aus- Kiwi we love being out there, small tent or bigger one for longer stays. We will be keeping them.

Spent some years in NZ loved it.

Thanks again for additional welcomes.

We have looked at caravans a long time examining every type and chose a Coromal 605 for our first van which I think suits our plans. It will need tyres, battery as has had very little use from new. We have time to get it right before we use it. Some smaller trips first are the plan. Towing with a GU Nissan Patrol.
