Eating our way around Australia - July/August

Apologies all for the lateness of my report. Fail me if you must, or at least mark me down a bit... Still catching up with the latter part of this year since returning from the Cape.

July marked our anniversary of six years of driving, so have added a little list of statistics for you as well.

Enjoyed the read, you have been busy since we seen you last. I bet you are still finding red dirt in places
But good to see you got to see all that part of the coast without too much drama

Great read as usual Lorraine. For those of us still "stuck" in one place, you bring travel to life. I haven't been able to venture out for past 6 months but that will change shortly. Yeah! I haven't been idle with my travel plans though. Been working on budgets and the like so was interested in your statistics (damn statistics lol). 62km a day @ $17 per day. Gives me food for thought. I was working on 50km per day so that works out about right for me.

Thanks Ray, after blogging for over six years, I often feel I don't need to continue my blog, family members don't' bother to reply - if in fact they read it. People we have met on the road say "keep in touch" - but it is a two way thing, and I feel I do all the work. When I get comments like yours and other on the forum, it does give me reason to keep on writing.

Wow, 62km  @ $17 per day. DId I say that. Never looked at it that way.

Dougwe, Shhhhh!

Kebbin & Cadpete, thank for reading - and commenting

Great read, make's me long for our trip too start, not until end of April though up to Normanton then across to the Kimberly's, see where we go after that.
It's people like you though that are prepared to put pen to paper that make it for the rest of us so thank you for your time and dedication.
Pomme.
