Satlink WS-6906

Good morning,

I recently purchased a Satlink WS-6906 satellite finder for DirecTV.  The instructions are more useless than helpful.

I am looking for step by step directions on how to get satellite.  Satellites that I need to acquire are 99, 101, 110, and 119.

Many thanks,

Bill

Hi there. Do you have a direct TV receiver box or do you have the vast receiver. I do not know of any Aussie traveller who has the direct receiver box. . I think your sat finder will only find you the satellite for Aust sat TV which I think is c1. Maybe I am wring but I think direct TV is for the northern hemisphere. Daz

The Satlink WS-6906 is a powerful and versatile piece of equipment. According to the website below you wont get DirectTV in Australia at all - the satellite footprint only covers the USA.

You can set up the WS6906 for any satellite you like, but bear in mind that you must have visibility of the satellite to receive anything. Tutorials are available on YouTube, a manual for it is available here:
