Removing step light

I have a small round dodgy LED light in the step well of my Jurgens. I can get the fascia and lens off but that's it. Do I have too break it to get it out or is there a way of getting it out without breaking it. Tried turning it and also levering it with a screw driver. No luck at this point.

A lot of new LED fittings are sealed, as such designed for complete replacement.  A picture might help to identify how to open it if its possible.

Assuming that most under the step lights are more or less the same

Can you let us all know how you removed it, Rusty

I tried to remove mine on a Jayco Conquest to change what I think is a normal globe, to a LED one

Did not have much luck, and stopped before I broke it

Just scripted a letter to Jurgens for sending in the New Year after lots of testing yesterday.
Like a lot of people on this forum, what I'd really like is the 12v wiring diagram for my van. I have 12v across the switch for the outside LED globe but only 3.5v across the switch for the stepwell globe even though they have a common (jumped) +ve connection (2 gang switch). The stepwell globe is causing my 12v regulator (Omegalec) to trip and I have to power it off & on again. Suspect that the LED globe is not good so crushing it to remove it may be necessary. Also not sure if it's a globe in a housing or it's all one unit. That's a question I have for Jurgens.
