Could someone help me, I wish to install a 7pin harness to tow my trailer/camper, a wiring diagram would be a great help. The car is a Toyota 2004 5 door Rav4
Thanks In Advance

Things are never as easy as they first may appear! I did a quick search and found the official Toyota fitting instructions which seems complicated BUT I'm sure there is more than one way to skin a cat. Also the loom you fit may need a special device to fool the cars computer into thinking you do not have a trailer attached otherwise the lights may not work. Sorry to complicate it and apologies if my comments are wrong. They are for a 2005 model but I'm guessing they are the same.
Looks straight forward to me in fitting instructions as in Denis's link, the connectors are only patched into the existing wiring connector for ease of connecting. no complicated relay and electronics to worry about unlike the later Landcruisers.
Toyota Rav wiring harness looks very basic but may be expensive.
If you are handy you could do it yourself very easily.
To save on cost, get 5 core wire and just wire in direct to the existing wiring in the Rav4 and to the 7 pin plug for brake ,tail lights, left and right flashers and earth. (Reverse pin 2 black and electric brake pin 5 blue not needed if no electric brakes )
Use a test light to locate the correct wire that you want. cut the outer insulation all the way around with a knife (don't cut wire) then stretch insulation apart ,wrap wire around and solder and tape up connection.
Most genuine harnesses, the wires are too small for power and earth to the camper. If needed you would need to wire power and earth direct from the battery via a fuse with 6 or 8mm twin cable to a Anderson plug. depending on load required at the camper.
