Hi does anybody know where I can get new lift cables replaced in my parents pop top at a reasonable price or if you can buy a replacement kit and do it ourselves. We are in Kilmore Victoria cheers

Try Jayco for cables
Remember there is the main cable, winch to pulling plate and 4 x secondary cables
There are a few things that must be checked
pulleys some earlier units are plastic
pulley mounts come loose in floor check
Telescopic tube risers 1 at each corner , These have plastic guides that are replaceable
Remove winch and check for wear and lightly lube .

U will need model and year details
Jayco dealers will not have in stock but can get many older parts . [the dealers are below average but if they contact Jayco direct U will get the right parts ]
Some parts are available after market
Time to change would be 1/2 day for ""GOOD" repairer and a day at home . Depends on how much wood work u have to remove . Cables only.
