Thinking about installing a redarc pro elite myself , it looks fairly straight fwd , any one else done it themselves that can proffer any useful info. I have been quoted $600 and $700 to do it
If you are suitably skilled at removing interior trims, can join wires in a tradesman-like fashion, appreciate cable and circuit protection... go for it.

Someone who fits brake controllers does not purchase the components from Evilbay. They get them from local suppliers where warranty service is guaranteed.

Ultimately warranty is carried by Redarc... however warranty support is often very efficient from online sellers. Keep supporting the old model if you wish.
Well yes I have installed my own "Tow-Pro" unit, and perhaps I could give some hints if I knew the vehicle it was to be installed in was the same as mine, BT50/Ranger.
