I have a Projecta charger/power supply in my Motorhome which runs my two Optima cranking batteries.
I have to say I bought my MH with the system in place and have had it for nine years. Still with the same Optima batteries. I have it switched on all the time I am on power. So I can't claim responsibility for it's purchase.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
I also had Two CTek Smart battery chargers/12 Volt supply that ran the 12 Volt fridge, Both packed up after around two years each . They were around the $250 mark each.
Projecta still going strong.

I'll second that regarding the Project IC range, not the cheapest but by far the most reliable for the money. Not many chargers will stand up to the continuous high demands a lithium battery puts on them without dropping out from over heat or dialing back their output to protect themselves, but the Projecta IC range have stood out from the crowd, especially the 50 amp units. Set them in power supply mode and they will deliver up to 50 amps to hold the 13.8v steady, yet dial back to next to nothing if there is no load.

I have a couple of the Projecta IC2500 chargers. The 13.8v power supply function does not operate as a stand alone unit. The Projecta IC2500 requires to be connected to a battery to have an output voltage >0.0v when selected as "power supply" mode.
When in this "power supply mode" subject to the battery terminal voltage, cabling, etc, etc, determines the operating IC2500 terminal voltage and current. The current limiting function, to the selected level, of the IC2500 is operative in the "power supply" mode.
It is my opinion a true power supply should operate as a stand alone unit and not require connection of a battery.
If the OP is requiring a true power supply function then need to look beyond the Projecta ICxxxx units.
Hi Paul, you make a good point regarding the Projecta IC range requiring a battery connection to function. The title says battery charger plus 12v power supply so one would assume it would be permanently connected to a battery but it is possible the required use pattern was dual purpose when a battery was not part of the system and as you correctly point out, it won't function in that environment.
