meetoo, batteries are best charged at the 10 hour rate so both Aus-Kiwi & dazz are right on the ball.
Have a read of this - www.energymatters.com.au/components/battery-voltage-discharge/ The only link that I had to EM was to buy a couple of portable panels from them a few years ago but I find their info very good. I have a copy of the voltages printed & in my van's hand book.

HI
The charge rate is typically higher for AGM compared to wet flooded batteries
Typical
AGM charge rate
wet batt = slow 10% upto 20% of AH
AGM batt = slow 15% upto 25% of AH
[technically agm rates are only limited by there temperature]
Batteries can have specific conditions for charge so its always recommended to follow the guidelines by the maker.
In reality 2x 120ah are charged by 240v 25amp or a 40amp charger . If u bush camp alot your generator needs to run the charger .
Going below 25amps will extend the run time on generator potentially to eg 8hrs +
Thanks all. Great to see a close agreeance between replies. Makes it easier to choose one. Looks like it is a choice between 25 amp and 25 amp. Hmm, I think I'll choose 25 amp.
Cheers, John.
