Hi all. I hope the photo attachment can be opened. The black plastic has cracked badly and needs to be replaced. For the life of me I cannot find anything on the net and am not sure how to describe it. The plastics housing hides all the wiring and runs across the rear of the van. Is there anyone out there who can tell me the correct name to describe this bar, and or where I may source the same. Cheers. Daz. From sunny Yorke peninsula
The black bar is just a piece of trim that is peculiar to that manufacturers van. You will have to source new ones through the factory or an agent. You will not get it from a spare parts place.

Go see someone that does plastic welding, they might be able to repair it.

I'm presuming the black platic bar has many small cracks but no missing material. If you can remove the black plastic bar from the vehicle after removing the lamps you could turn the bar upside down on a table/flat surface, then thoroughly clean the surface and coat with some black silicone sealant especially around the cracks. This will not remove the cracks but it will stabilise the plastic surface. Additionally you could then spray the bar with flat black plastic paint which will flow and cover the cracks.
Not as good as a new bar but would cost a lot less.
So how many caravan repair yards have you been to. Those yards are like wreckers accumulate a heap of stuff. My Son's repair business has a load of gear out back in containers, 40yrs worth.
