3 way van fridge

Howdy, this has probably been raised before but will ask again. Our RM 7851 Van fridge works awesome on 240v, but on gas freezer is perfect but fridge temp varies from about 2.5degrees to about 10 degrees . Question is there a tbermostat for the fridge compartment when on gas? Cheers crocodile

As far as i know the answer is yes, your fridge temp 2.5 - 10 is most likely ok depending on outside temp.
They don't like it much over 30 outside, i made the outside vent bigger on mine so as the air can circulate better.
Maybe others with more no how can help as i don't know that much about it.
I leave it all to my youngest son whom has 20yrs experience in the game and his own repair shop, so i just go there
have a whinge and the boys fix it.

Good luck keep us posted on the outcome.

PS: i looking for the name of a country song, i think the singer was Canadian who's last name started with a "Y".

The only words i can recall from the song are " I spent 12 hrs on a John Deere tractor and i'm ready to go again"

If any country fans know it please PM me or reply to this. Thanks very much it's driving me crazy.

Best check the size of the gas flame

.The outer edge of the flame should just touch the  inner edge of the vent tube  when trying to cool

.If it does not ,it could be due to:

Clogged jet

Low gas pressure

 a faulty thermostat [unlikely]

hi
faulty gas regulator
rubber/braid flex line regulator to bottle can collapse inside
flex lines can leak at crimp fittings . The flexing cuts the hose internally
damaged or squashed copper line

Have pressure checked at burner

jet clean
flu clean
Flu ""spiral'' instaled [keeps the heat in the tube longer ]
