Joan here, i am 67yr young Kiwi Lass, Im not sure what i am doing living in Aussie on a permanent basis but here i am none the less, the shift definitely was not on my bucket list.
One thing i have always wanted to do is travel around in a Motor home and visit different places and met more people.
And it looks like this dream is going to become true in this fantastic country, so maybe that is my reason for being here..
I am situated in South East Queensland and would like some ideas about where to go first so i can start my next chapter in life.
Oops Iām male so hope itās ok . I would follow the climate you prefere . Keeping in mind the wet season as your possibly aware aleady ? We did the south Aust coast In March when it was nice and warm . Then around the coast Perth , Broom
, Darwin as winter cane on temps stayed about the same as we headed north, humidity
Changed !! . I assume you could do much the same from Queensland - Darwin the other way around . We really liked the cattle station stays . Centre is much cooler at night . Much Ike the dessert road !! Enjoy . Safe travels . Ex Morrinsville..
