We are aiming for a trip to the Central Queensland Gemfields in late July. May get away earlier but definitely aiming for third week of July if any GNs will be there then.

Having done 7 winters at the Gemfields previously, Gemfest really doesnt do it for us any longer. Having a bit of a scratch for a few more stones does, though. Our favourite places there were Tomahawk Creek and Reward. We were planning to try Reward this time, depending on the state of the knees and back! I had a knee replacement 16 months ago and it has left me with a stiff left leg. Maybe doing a bit of fossicking may assist to loosen it up a bit. Hope so anyway.
