Fiat Ducato

HI everyone, I am new to grey nomads would like to ask a question, we test drove a Fiat Ducato motor home, we noticed when it changed gears (its and auto) it seemed to slow down at each change is this normal on these vehicles? it was a 2013 one 20ft long

It's perfectly normal in ours. Ours is a 2014 model and you just have to get used to it being a bit slow. If you want you can put it in manual and quickly go through the gears that way. I've no doubt you'll get all the negatives to come out. But in our case we've had the Fiat motorhome for 3 1/2 years done 65000 klms and had absolutely no problems with it at all. Good luck with your looking Pauline
