Well Doug, you are officially nuts by all reports. Now known as The Nut at Stanley Tas. Officially " Circular Head " when originally surveyed in early 1800's. the name of " The Nut' came when they tried to dynamite a heap of rock out of her in early 1920's to build the wharf area. they put sh..t loads in and set it off. Got bugger all rock down. Hence " It's a hard nut to crack! ". Still a spectacular view from the top, a walking track or a chair lift available.

Thanks Craig, I think biggrin

I thought that was 'The Nut'. I reckon the Circus must have been in town at that time. Maybe they bought the Elephants in to try and move 'The Nut'.

They should have just bought in a couple of hundred monkeys to eat 'The Nut'.

Mmmm, sorry cry
