Hi all. I'm a new greynomad soon to join the armada of " getawayers". I would like some info' on side mirrors that work best on a BT50.Safety being # 1. Thanks for any replies.
Welcome to the gang milco, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Mirrors? Struth mate, ya have nearly opened a can of worms but not quite, so I have the can sitting on the bech just incase I need to open it.
Now, this subject had been discussed on this great forum many times and only the other day in the 'general' section so pop in there for a squiz or just type mirrors in the search bar above in the thick blue line.
Me, I never leave home without my 'Clearviews'. I reckon they are the beez knees and I tell you that for free. They look good on a BT50 too.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I use the add on ones for our Bt50, but if you have the spondoliee, clear views would be better, For one you will never again take off and then have to stop and put your mirrors on, conversely you won't need to worry about driving about with your adaptored mirrors on and get a fine, you just put your arm out the window and bring the in or move them out. The mirrors are way better than driving using a camera and monitor as a rear view mirror.
And one other point I can think of, is if you have indicator lights built in to the mirrors, when they are extended while towing, the traffic beside you can see those indicators.
On saying that, I have the clip on type, and I am not about to run off and spend that dow, mainly because I sent it on a rear view camera etc., and in hind sight I should have gone "Clearveiw"
