does any know why all the vans were getting pulled into the weight bridge must been 20 odd pulled up there at Burpengary qld
They did it last week too,so next day I dropped in for a chat.I was advised that it was a Police operation, but no tickets issued, and it was simply an advisory service.....
It was part of Queensland Road Safety Week conducted by Roads & Traffic, not a police operation but they were assisting in the exercise. I got pulled over at Clermont. Van and D-Max put on the scales. D-Max was fine, van was over by 70kg but we couldn't understand why. No water and no gas, no food and only enough clothes for myself, (one on, one off and one in the wash)

Hi Martin.....splitting hairs maybe, but the weighbridge operators I spoke directly to at the weighbridge. said...and I quote.....It is a Police Operation, and runs from 10.30am until 12.30pm.Cheers
Had a friend put his kit on the scales just recently. All up he was under but his tug was over. He had to shift stuff from his tug to the van which wasn't easy. He had to carry stuff on the floor in the van.
