Thetford toilet pump.

Im  in the process of replacing a pump in a thetford c-402-c toilet. The problem is do I just shove the pump into the deepest part of the tank or is there a specific place for it to go?

Just drop it down low as low as the hose will permit and make sure you get the heatshrink over the cable join correctly
