Hi. I am looking for a dog friendly retired couple for these 12 days over Xmas  (15 Dec until 27 Dec). Surely there must be a couple who would like a Xmas break to visit family or friends?  I have a very pleasant high set home in Carindale that has all basic amenities including a small pool. The house is within minutes of the up-market Westfield Carindale Shopping Mall, the Pacific Golf Course and Fitness First Health and Lifestyle Centre. There is a very good bus service just 400m from the house that will take you just about anywhere.
My main concern if the welfare of my dog. Foxy is a 5-year-old rescue Greyhound with the gentlest and most placid nature. He is really beautiful although shy to begin with. He is basically an indoor dog who is happy to sleep on his bed or my bed for hours on end. He is impeccably behaved and walks on a leash without pulling. All that I require of you is to feed prepared meals to him at breakfast and again at dinner and to take him for at least 2 walks each day and show him lots of affection. There are lovely walking tracks and parks in this area. He also loves to stretch his legs if you feel confident enough to unleash him in the local park. He has never tried to run away from any sitter that I've had before.
I would also be very grateful to have my lawns cut just once and garden watered if and when necessary.  If at all possible, I would like to meet you before my departure and to view any references you may have.
I would be very pleased to have non-smokers who live a quiet, responsible life. There is room in my street if you have a caravan which two previous sitters have had. I'm sorry, but no children please.
