Motor home hot water issue ? Winebago

The outside shower terminals inside wall leaked around push on fitting.. To prevent water inside ? I joined to hot and cold pipes together . As outside shower is not our number 1 thing we use ! Not over winter . What I want to know is will this prevent hot water at sink . It runs warm then cold . I assume water is circulating through joined shower pipe ?  Off to Rheem etc tomorrow to get 90* fitting etc .  Thing are GREAT when they WORK !!

Yep FIXED . Bought two 90* push on fittings . Gas and elect heater works . I guess there is a pressure valve which prevents heater from working for safety reasons .As hot & cold pipes where joined to prevent leaking. All good . $23 fix .
