Aircommand Heron Q front panel

Hi,  Has anyone needed to replace the silver plastic front panel on a Heron Q aircon?  Mine has cracked around the screw holes to the point where pieces are falling off it.  I've checked a few websites and found nothing.  My van is a 2007 Coromal so that should give some idea of the vintage.  Any advice appreciated.  John.

Had the same problem in my jayco, I used body filler in the back of the cover to hold it all together & fine sanded it. Painted it with a aerosol spray can , looks like new. I measured the hole positions so I could drill it after filling. Used some washer faced gold coloured screws from the big green shed, John.

Thanks Joda.  That's probably the way I'll have to go.  John

G'day Virago and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  No experience like your but I reckon Joda's method sounds reasonable :)

Thanks Pete and Marion!  I'm sure I'll gain lots from this site and if I can help anyone along the way that will be good too.
