We have one from RTM - it was out on special. It's not big (21" or thereabouts) but suits us (haven't used the built in DVD player yet).
Our van came with a Sphere TV but the DVD player was gurked (now have the TV in my den). Both are 12v & have power adaptors.
Which is better? Holden or Ford? Nissan or Toyota?

appreciate the replies.......another point, have seen a couple of travellers using "anteneas" ( spelt wrong )....similar to HF aerials.....are these Ok ..??

All the ones we have had recently have poor sound quality,so we have bought some media speakers inexpensive little things from jaycar, quite a few years ago we had a small LG TV in an avan Aliner our first van the sound was excellent,If this tv gives problems I would probably buy an LG...

Or should be "spelt wrongly" - that is OK as far as I am concerned with the level or grammar and spelling in these forums. The thing that gets up my wick is people referring to antennae (unless they are talking about insects.)

Russ, my sentiments as well. The picture quality of the smaller sets is very similar. I think it is where the major difference is. The sound quality varies from poor to very poor. If you are looking for a set with excellent audio quality then opt for quality speakers to go with it.
My bent on the best set is one that suits my need. It is sourced locally or online from a company I believe I can get good service from, particularly in the warranty department. I prefer to purchase from where I can eyeball the equipment before purchase.

Also consider inverter and 240v TV . ?? I found the usage wasnt much different . Or so minimal it didnt matter . That way we have SMART TV etc ( TV we already had) Just an option .
We picked up a 28" RV Media 12V/240V TV/DVD combo at a Camec clearance sale for a crazy price several years back. Has never missed a beat & decent sound as well.

School teachers are not needed here. So what if their is a word with the wrong spelling, most people who have been to the uni of hard knocks know what the message is.
