Hopefully someone has heard this and it is normal.
When I start my fridge on gas the burner makes a roaring sound as it burns the gas.
After a few minutes this sound lessens considerably and stays that way. Is this normal or should it continuing making the louder roar. Its not real old, just louder than after a few minutes.
I can remember hearing the gas roaring when everything was new, 5 years ago, but cant remember if it reduced in volume after things warmed up.

You may have extra good hearing but I would not like to my fridge Gas flame roaring!!! But with all questions regarding frigs ,you are more likely to get relevant answers if you could simply post the fridge brand & model number !
It will result in more relevant Answers!
Now to your question, I suspect you have an excessive flame
You should remove the cover over the flame & check it's size
It's outer edge should just touch the bottom of the flue tube & should be burning with steady clean blueish colour flame
The make and model is Dometic RM4605. The level is not a roar, I may have exaggerated a bit, but is a noticibly level higher than what the flame makes a few minutes later when everything warms up. I was interested in which level of the two is normal.
