tyre tensioning -rv daily article

http://rvdaily.com.au/rvd/issue038/#91, It may be possible if you do not take off the crooked alignment of tow vehicle and van to achieve a disaster, as per the article.

We , wife and I discussed this this morning and agreed that we do align everything as a standard procedure, BUT, could be a chance if rushed or distracted or in a tight spot.

Be warned, a single axle caravan/trailer will do the same thing, it will roll off a leveling ramp easier given the chance.

As a retired transport driver I like to go forward, then reverse  and take that twist out before unhitching the caravan.

True - I have a bent shaft on a Trailermate to prove it.
