Hi gang I hope to leave Perth and go to Kununurra and down the middle and back to Perth Can you tell me me if you can still camp at the kununurra show ground Hope to leave by the end of June . Snipz
We stayed in this old gravel pit west of Kununurra. A bit over grown at the entrance so keep your eyes peeled but once you are in there it's good & open area. Keep on the road closer to the main road.

We try to avoided wikicamps as everything we came across is more filthy. We generally found enough old gravel pits etc, but don't leave it too late in the day as you need the light to see things, a lot of them were too overgrown if you are towing. We have no issues camping by ourselves. If there happens to be 1 or 2 others before or after we try to have a brief conversation to say hello. Never had any issues.
