hello everyone, we have just taken the handover of the above motorhome from Page Bros in Seaford. The sales person we dealt with was really useful and professional. However, (there is always a however isnt there!) when we picked it up there was water in the drinking water tank, but when the tank was filled up prior to heading off, we got flooded inside the van, big time. Having had previous rvs i expected an over flow system of some sort. The water pressure going into the tank was gentle, water back flowed when full, but inside was flooded and not just a dribble! Has any one had any information to help us? Has anyone experienced similar. We were heading off to Queensland today, now we are going to have to wait until Tuesday to go back to the dealer. Any help or information greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanc.
We were heading to Queensland, but in light of this development we will go back to the dealer, but now on Tuesday! My concern is if it has not been my fault (dont know why it would!)then it must be the pre delivery that was not up to scratch. If that is the case, I may be harder to deal with. This has interrupted our departure to our responsibilities in Carbrook, Qld.

On my Jayco Conquest the tank is below the floor level
The filling point, is above the floor level, the pump is also above the floor level
I would be looking at the hoses and connections where my sketch is pointing to, as they will be inside the motorhome, and above the floor level All my fittings joining the hoses to the one way/pressure reduction valve before the tank are John Guest push on (above the floor) which may not be fully home The fitting on the pump is a taper compression fitting, (also above the floor) and could be loose
Hopefully you will let us all know what the problem was, as it may help others in the future
Thanks everyone for your replys. I finally went to a Jayco agent at Bairnsdale and found out the over flow hose had not been connected. In fact the hose was too short to be connected and the nipple it should have been connected to was snapped off. Other issues have been the storage bins catches are rusted and seem also to be corroded. I am a bit unimpressed with Jayco quality control both at the factory and the dealer. I know things can happe; but the quality control seems to be non existent. Not happy Jan!!

I also have a 2018 Jayco Conquest DX 25.3 which we have had for 12 months and am keen to share my experience with it.
My wife and I have had a few trips in it, the furthest being up to Cairns QLD, August to end October last year (2018), we live in Melbourne. We also had some water leaks, piping under kitchen sink and under the ensuite sink, I tightened the plumbing joints about a quarter of a turn and that fixed it.
We really love our Motorhome, we had a smaller one (AVIDA Leura) for 2 years previously and decided to up-size last year as we liked the new Jayco Conquest layout. Even though we are happy with the Conquest we have had a few issues, some have been resolved by Prestige Jayco Geelong and some I have sorted myself.
Item 1. We had a major squeeking coming from the Van section, we started noticing it after about 4 days into our trip to Cairns, very annoying, however when we got back home and took it to Prestige Jayco Geelong they fixed it without any hassle, they said they removed some of the cupboards, re-glued them and added more of those white corner blocks, from furniture to the floor. We have done a trip to Warrnambool and 'the squeek' has disappeared, whoohoo.
Item 2. The corners of the fixed base of slide out bed broke, I fixed these myself, I bought a couple perforated corner brackets and short screws from Bunnings and screwed the corners together. They broke because of the Bed gas struts (mainly the nut) being too close to the sides of the bed and not enough clearance (design fault), I have fabricated some new brackets and slightly bent the original ones to make sure they have plenty clearance. Not sure if they have addressed this problem on your 2019 model.
Item 3. We found that the toilet roll holder was not in the best position so I just removed it.
Item 4. We also found that the en-suite was a bit squashy so I removed the en-suite concertina door and track (which is on an angle) and installed the old fashion shower curtain rail with a window curtain, which is now located 140mm further into the bedroom and give us a lot more room in the en-suite.
Item 4. A few its and pieces I have that might be of interest: Dash Cam, Levelling App on my Iphone, home made timber levelling ramps, shoo roos, washing machine drain hose storage tubes which are under the Motorhome and stick out the back, they look like twin exhaust pipes, we also Tow a Suzuki Jimny 2008 Auto (with a Dog Clutch) on a Ready Brute A-frame.
I would be interested to hear how you are going with your Conquest and if you have had any of the same or other issues.
