To my surprise I thought they were getting a bit dear but we are in South Australia at present and meat pies prices are up there also.
We very rarely buy bakery pies because of the expence and in our freezer we have a 6 pack from the chain stores for less then the price of one from a bakery.
Conclusion is if I buy a pie my choice is Blackbutt pie.
anyone who knows me will recall that I love a good pie.
I always have a laugh to myself when I see notices in bakery windows stating that they won the best pies in Australia award.
There must be hundreds of them across the land.
