does anyone know how to adjust the arms on the roll out awning? On mine the space between the arm on on end is about half that of the other end. This leads to the problem of not being able to fold up the arms because they are not in line.
it takes a bit of brute force and ignorance to get it folded. Any thoughts on the matter would be welcome

need to relocate the awning on the van, odds are one of the stopper screws that locate it has come out or you are rolling up the awning uneven and it tends to walk one way cheers blaze

G'day Brian and Cheryl. It's been a while since we chatted
If it's alright up on the van then have the awning rolled down with no pressure on it. Grab a hand, well two, from someone else and your two hands, get a good grip and on it....1,2,3 pull....it toward the end you need to. I did that a while back and worked.
As Blaze has said. The vinyl seems to move over time for whatever reason and needs a bit of force.
See you both in your travels.
Keep safe on the roads and out there.

One thing I'd check before shifting the awning in its tracks is skirt on your pop top.
If it's not up taught or the corners don't have nice clean 90 degree angles for the sides or the roof looks to be more one way than another.
I had similar symptoms on mine where the arms woudln't line back up when putting it away and it would always have a kink in it when rolled up.
Turns out it was my gas struts were dead. a couple of them anyway, causing the pop top to sit up at a bit of an angle and not come down straight like it should.
The in turn pulled the awning to one side as mine was attached to the pop top.
It very well could be what others outline above but before you move it, just to a quick look. because if its the struts, you'll only have to move the awning back to its original place again once fixed.
