Friendly towns

Had to stop over on Port Lincoln after breakdown in wind and rain yesterday afternoon. RAA very supportive and followed us into PL caravan centre. Short term fix, they guided us personally to caravan park. Caravan park got us in at very short notice on drive through concrete slab (with a view) at gday rates, even tho we are no longer members.

Back to repair shop this am, happy service, bunnings, always happy service. Now laundromat, friendly staff.

I think Port Lincoln has to be the most friendly town we have visited over our 8 years on the road.

Always so good to hear especially when you're in trouble and need help.

How good is that! It's always good to hear things like that Lorraine. There's enough nastiness around.

Hope you and John are well.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

We had a similar experience, our water pump started to play up whilst in the area, contacted John Martin Caravan Repairs, without hesitation they said bring it in, two hour drive, couple of hours in the workshop and we were on the road again all sorted.

As a bonus, Lincoln is a nice spot to visit.smile

and you can now camp at John Martin Caravan Repairs apparently, tho we did not take up that option. Would have been a bit cheeky as we were at the other caravan repair place.

I agree 100% Dunmowin.

We are also into our 8th year on the road and spent around 6 weeks in the Port Lincoln area.

Great town and great people.
