Wanted: Dead or near dead drop in lithium batteries

If you have a dead or near dead lithium battery that you can't get any joy regarding a warranty replacement, I'm interested in buying it. I want to see just what it is that is failing in these drop in 12v batteries and the only way I'll find out is to open them up.

So, if you want to get a few $$ for something that is really of little value to you, let me know and we can arrange a price and freight to get it here.

I'm guessing their are some who are a tad embarrassed about their drop in purchases so there have been no takers to date. Mamil says he has got 2 yrs out of his so far so it might be a while yet. If I didn't get the expected 2 1/2yrs cycle life when discharged to 50% SOC each night that AGM batteries give, I'd be more than just "unhappy" with them :lol:

150Ah pro power still going strong after 4 years but if it fails would be happy to drop it to you at manum and cut it open. I would like to see inside . They say it has 4 batteries but.. regards bob

Not wishing you any bad luck Bob, but it would be good to get my hands on it so I can dissect it :lol: Might even be able to recover it so it can back into use if that interests you rather than me buying it off you.
