Restoration of old vans

Hi Guys

It has been a while since I have had time to catch up with the forum.

i am in need of advice about repairing/restoring my old caravans and would appreciate your help.

i have an 18ft dual axel Viscount I have used for travelling for over 30 years and it is in need of repairs to the windows and the step up into it is rusted out and needs replacing.

My other van is a 16ft single axel Viscount which has a leaky roof and water damage to the plywood on some walls. I would like to get this van back on the road.

Can anyone give me recomendations for people who have experience repairing/ restoring old vans? I live in NSW but can travel.

Thank you

Allara

There was a US program on Fox about companies or people rebuilding caravans . I think the show was about small homes ? Most were either caravans or motorhomes . Maybe search YouTube ?? One part I like ? Is its custom built to what you want. Bunks or seating etc . Check James caravan repaires .

I'm still at Deniliquin at a vintage caravan display, about 40 caravans. Heaps of knowledge here.

Google - vintage caravans proboard
