A good time to capture birds is the hour or so after dawn and that suits my sleep patterns!
Bird photography is hard - it takes technique, gear, patience and luck.
I like to say a good bird shot isn't taken, it's given - but you have to be ready for the gift.
We've just been in the south of WA for a month and the birds and wildflowers were wonderful.
Here we have a Little Eagle, Elegant Parrot and Golden (now Western) Whistler - all from the Stirling Ranges near the Stirling Range Retreat.
