Not a big problem in Australia.
Operational temperatures for LiFePO4 is -45C to 85C but users must remember that cell temperatures rise sharply by up to 15C under very heavy charge and discharge rates.
Users should also be aware that Ions are difficult to load in the crystal structure of Lithium at temps below approx. 0C and not at all below -3C.
Most LiFePO4 'batteries' have an inbuilt BMS that performs a whole host of functions such as cell balancing, limiting excessive current into and out of the cell pack, and will usually prevent charging at cell temperature extremes of below 0C or above 65C.
Whilst you draw down and replace power to a battery, you actually have a collection of individual cells that for your convenience have been arranged as a battery to provide you the voltage and capacity you require, but varieties of Lithium Ion batteries are not 'managed' as a battery, but rather as those individual cells.
