Roof racks for VW

Hi am having problem with getting roof rack for VW LT35 2006 seems none have long enough things to fit into rail which is 13 inches anyone know where I could go at a reasonable price its to put a solar panel on

Hi Sassycat.smile

I have recently taken off the roof racks from my Sprinter but sold them now. They were Load Rail brand with 13" legs. 

However my suggestion is to glue the panels onto the roof direct with aluminum angle brackets, or the bought plastic things made for the job. Look on Ebay. There are suggestions in the techies corner and solar sub section on how to glue them on. I did the the angle brackets and they are as solid as you could want.

Using the roof rails does damage the roof gutters and the dirt sticks there and the gutters rust if you do not be careful.
