W.A. C/Parks

Hi all,

Our first trip around the block hopefully we will be in Broome around mid July, from your experience would it be advisable to book in advance, even this or next month ? also would the same apply for the rest of the Western Coast, down to Monkey Mia ? & on,We would also expect to do some free camps along the way, we will be coming from Darwin via Timber Creek. We are newbies to a certain extent, although we have done just about all of Qld & NSW & some of S.A.

many thanks for your recommendations & thoughts.

regards

Dave & Maz

Peak tourist times for the NW Top-end so booking may be prudent. Note free camps normally smaller sized down west coast - use your WikiCamps and get in early.

For popular tourist spots definitely book ahead during peak times. The north of WA can be very busy and I would not take pot luck.
