If you are planning a trip within Australia I recommend buying a Camps 10 Guide. It lists all Free and low cost Camping/caravan sites and comes with the added bonus of a set of HEMA Maps in each State.

You should also get a WikiCamps app for your device www.wikicamps.com.au/

Welcome to the gang John, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I agree with 'Wiki Camps'. Make sure you read half a dozen or so reviews then make your mind up if to go there or not.

I had the 'Camps' book but found it was heavy and well, just big so ditched it. 'Wiki' does what I want. Of course, word of mouth is better.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I have a 12th edition Hema Australia Road & 4WD Atlas, less than $40. Nice to have a hard copy, we pencil in it notes & one can see multiple pages at ease. Noticed a couple of roads out of date, but not an issue. Between Marree & Lyndhurst is now sealed.
