With the van locked away due to travel restrictions, I thought installing an auto sat dish would while away the boredom. Photos to follow when I work out how to caption them.
Was pretty straight forward. Plate was 900x500 x3mm aluminium etch primed and painted white. Did this as the base unit did not line up with roof battens. Plenty of screws into fibreglass roof and a ton of sikaflex to ensure my investment doesn't blow away. Whole unit including dish rests on this plate.
Cheers Bob, I am back at work but only three shifts a week. Plenty of spare time to isolate. Replacing the deteriorating 16yr old vents with smoked cover ones and then a diesel heater install.
