Hi Rod,
I use both white and black 291 Marine on the boat and van.
If passing by Whitworths marine outlet take a catalogue , and use it at Bunnings. Whitworths price $22.95 less 10 % bunnings = $20.65 Read appications on rear first.
The stuff is flexable and hold on very well. have uses it for years.

I used Sikaflex 252 when resealing my rear hatch, a caravan repair shop said good luck getting that out if it leaks.
Sikaflex seals and I used a primer on both surfaces one for plastic and Aluminum.
Sikaflex can only be removed mechanical and it sticks down pretty good and has a long life.
I found it very hard to squeeze the gun and keep a constant flow onto the surface, I suppose that's why they have electric gun.
I'll be using the remainder to stick down my new solar panel mounts which are ABS plastic.
I hope this helps you.
Sikaflex 252 is a high performance adhesive. The OKA motorhome in my avatar, built in 2004, is completely held together with 252.
It is quite viscous (including before and after setting), requires very specific cleaning and priming solutions and it is expensive.
It is NOT the appropriate product for sealing.
If in any doubt I would suggest that people seek advise directly from Sikaflex. They provide good technical assistance.
I repeat my advise. For sealing, use "Pro" or "Construction AP".
As an aside, for a moderate strength adhesive and sealing I use Sikaflex 11FC. That is quite sufficient for gluing a sail track to a wall or for most other adhesion jobs where a good area of contact is available.
Cheers,
Peter

For my last two jobs (replaced a roof hatch and broken window) I used Sikaflex Pro + and so far after nearly two years it has been doing its job - ie, no leaks.
It comes in several colours - I used white, although I imagine there would be no difference between colours.
The stuff only has a life of 12 months from date of manufacture. Get the newest one if you're not going to use the lot in the first sitting.
Hardware bloke told me to freeze it when I said I only needed a small amount, did so and when I needed some more, I took it out of the freezer for about half an hour and it worked as good as new.
For resealing my Jayco Poptop I used Eternabond on all the straight runs e.g. around square hatches and around the edges front back and sides and sika around the TV antenna which was curved. I suggest you have a look at this site. You need to understand and follow the instructions to get the best seal but its quite simple to use and very effective. If you want to discuss it with me just send a PM foamsealant.com.au/eternabond/ www.caravanersforum.com/viewtopic.php
