Today I am going to modify the caravans water system, so that I can split the hot and cold side. When finished I should be able to run van tank water only through the hot side, and have bore or rubbish water on the cold side, selectable by turning a valve (or two).
My caravan has only cold water, so it is easier, but I have a hose connection mounted on the drawbar. From there, a short hose goes to the other side of the drawbar where I mount the in-line water filter. the outlet of the filter goes to the tap over the sink. I also have a length of hos so I can bypass the filter if I want, but over the last 20 years, I haven;t bothered to bypass the filter. All water - drinking, cooking and washing goes through the filter.
