So on solar for a couple of days and with heavy overcast and 1 100 ah batt so struggling. (11.9v) This morning voltage was getting low and controller started buzzing. Then realised we had no power. But volt meter then indicating 11.8v.
After 15 minutes v was back up to 12.2v (Sun just come out) I pressed the on button on the controller and we had power again.
My question is, did I have a fault or was that an alarm and cut out to protect the battery? Or someting else? No explanation in the manual. All fuses were ok.
Edit to add pic.

I looked up the manual for my Victron MPPT 100/20, it has a 11.8v load disconnect. I usually connect my fridge to the battery directly & not via the controller, but I have both options, mainly used for testing things. I think the fridge cuts itself off at 11.8v anyway.
I'm running 2 panels in series (have also tried 3 in series) so in low light I'm still getting some power & it is effective at either end of the day.

Hi oldbloke,
I had one of those in my van until I replaced it with a Victron.
It has since been relegated to the shed with an 80W panel.
When I disconnect it from one battery to another, it buzzes until it's connected again, so probably will be alarm as the voltage has dropped so low.
