Introduction

Hi everyone. I have just joined up and wanted to introduce myself. I have only just purchased a used Jayco J F Lite Pop Top caravan in the past 2 weeks, and am in the process of preparing for its first trip on the 14th September. I have owned a Camper trailer previously but wanted something easier to set up / pack down. David

Welcome to the gang David, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Make sure you check out all the different sections on the forum and ask questions iv the appropriate place. It makes it easier to find later when in the dungeon.

Keep Safe out there.

A warm welcome from me also, Tardve (David)

I hope that your planned road trip for next month, goes OK for you

No one seems to know, what the near future will be, for travelling, as the Coronavirus ring-locks/lockdowns goal posts, seem to be continually changing

Thank you Tony Bev and Dougwe

I am only planning a 6 day trip from Sydney to Bonny Hills then over to Tamworth and back down through the Hunter Valley to home. Any suggestions on things to see / do on the trip would be appreciated. I am planning to go west on the Oxley Highway from Port. Any issues with this road for a caravan?

Hi Tardve (David)

I have never been from Port Macquarie to Tamworth

I have been from Tamworth to the west/south end of Oxley Highway. (Junction of Oxley and Mitchell Highway), which is OK for caravans

As not many people come to this part of the forum, it may pay to copy and paste, your question, in the General Forum

Thanks Tony.

I have driven that road many years ago in a car and it is hilly. I will take my time and enjoy the scenery
