Long Term Camping Plans - Recommendations?

Hi everyone, this is my very first post on these forums, so I hope I've picked the appropriate place to do so.

I've been looking around for a place in Queensland to camp for an extended period of time. I'm about to sit a solo two year meditation retreat, and ideally I'd like to find somewhere for this retreat that meets two primary criteria: 1. Somewhere that has access to water. and 2. Somewhere that I am unlikely to be disturbed much.

I would be extremely quiet, well behaved and self sustained. Basically all I will be doing is sitting still, meditating for 16 hours per day.

Preferably within three or so hours drive from Brisbane, but I understand that this might not be possible

I have a few thousand dollars to spend on a location for this retreat, but given the length of time I'd be staying, I couldn't afford more than about $5 a night for this period.

Does anybody know of a place that might accommodate?

Thanks in advance!
