Reupholstering caravan seats, backs and headboard.

From the day we bought our Coromal Excel 541 three years ago Ive been itching to change the dated upholstery. The quotes I received was between $2200 and $3000 with new foam. I was told $200 difference between new foam and using existing foam. Im please to say we reupholstered our seats and head board for $450. It took team work. Depending on the cost of fabric it can be done for less. The most costly part was having the seats done by someone else using existing foam with new dacron to protect the foam. We covered the backs over the existing fabric. The headboard we did the same and flipped it giving it a different look. Overall we are very happy with the result and wouldnt hesitate to do it again.

Hi, Caroline, Welcome to GN's.
You've certainly managed to up-date the look.

Nice job. Amazing the lift it gives the van and yourselves when you update like that.

We got the club lounge and magazine holders done, and did the bed head, bed bolster and head protector over door ourselves 18 months ago, and are happy like yourselves.

Well done and welcome.
