Tablelands Highway

Does anyone know the conditions of the Tablelands Highway NT.

We intend to travel from Cape Crawford  ( Heartbreak Hotel ) to Barkley Homestead in August 2021. We have caravan.

Any comments would be usefull.

Les

Last time I travelled it the top 20 or so kilometres the surface was two lanes of undulating road where the ground below had shifted. It was OK if you are prepared to reduce speed to 70 - 80 km/h. The rest was mainly good single lane road. There were several rest areas along the road to get a little away from the road.
