Probably due to voltage drop at the radio, caused by increased current from fridge.
If this is the case , need to increase cable copper cross section to the fridge. ie so fridge causes less voltage drop.

I see one response to the issue in over a month. Perhaps a repost in the general part of the Technical forum might put it in front of others that have had your experience with your radio.
Just a suggestion to try and get you an answer.
