I don't normally feed wildlife,we have a water monitor that comes up from the river and feeds on insects on the front lawn.This morning it came up to the front patio door looking for food.
So I relented and gave it some mince meat,but the magpie didn't want to be left out.
There seems to be quite a few of them around at the moment in the creeks feeding into the Abercrombie River - there is a lounge/group at Wiaborough Ford feasting on crab apples hanging over the pool.
