Stuart Highway - Port Augusta/Coober Pedy/Uluru/Alice - to Darwin

Hi fellow travellers

Been travelling on my own for a year and a half - nearly a year in Tassie due to Covid (Loved It) then Great Ocean Road and Adelaide via a few places. Been staying with my daughter on and off in Adelaide whilst doing a bit of SA.  Love Adelaide. Now its time to head North via the Stuart Hwy as in subject above.

I would very much appreciate some ideas of what to see along the way as well as any advice that can be offered.  Also, I usually travel with 20L of water in my tank (to keep the weight down) and 2x10L Jerry cans of water in the Ute.  Is water scarce along the way?  WikiCamps dont show too many dump points. I am not in a hurry to get to Darwin and tend to take my time

Thanks for any comments you can provide

I dig a hole in bush and let it run into ground very slowly . Then fill over with red dirt . If I I have to ! Mainly grey water . Plenty of places to stop over night . On the WA / SA boarder , theres a massive parking area . We stopped over at Cooper P . Electricity is expensive and need to pay for showers . Didnt mind though !!

Travelling in that country I would be carrying as much water as possible. It is desert country and water is scarce. The road is sealed through to Alice but still is through very remote areas. You need to be as self sufficient as possible.
